Well, my studio is ready for the Holidays! I baked cookies (with help from Mom as expected! as well as Sandra) , fabricated something that looks pretty close to a Christmas Tree (sapin de Noël), and hung my stocking. (Grandma, I opened the package early, sorry!) The cookie-baking part of my week was very comforting, I mean it's always nice to be surrounded by the smell of sweet, freshly baked cookies and plus I was able to satisfy my need to continue this tradition while including my mom, even though she's across the ocean. And now, since it is getting closer to 'the' day, yes Christmas, I can say that I'm going to miss watching the Christmas Story marathon with Dad. Ahhh!

Also, as American tradition goes, I put together cookie packages for some of the teachers and families that have been so kind to me since I arrived.
The best part of it all is that last night (December 16) it began to snow! A very light snow 'la neige légère' but it's revving up my Holiday spirit even more.
